Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated seeks an experienced Manager to lead the Investor Accounting team in Houston, overseeing remittances, investor reporting, and bank account administration. The role combines hands-on technical work with people management responsibilities and cross-functional collaboration to meet investor requirements.

The ideal candidate brings 6+ years in mortgage accounting, 2+ years of people management, and strong Excel skills to drive accuracy and efficiency.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of mortgage accounting or mortgage banking experience.
• 2+ years of people management or supervisory experience.
• Strong understanding of investor requirements (Freddie Mac, Fannie Mae, HUD/ FHA, CMBS, life companies).
• Familiarity with SOX compliance and internal controls.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the Investor Accounting team and ensure accurate remittances and investor reporting.
• Act as primary contact for investor inquiries and escalations; ensure timely responses.
• Review complex reconciliations and resolve reporting issues.
• Develop/update policies and procedures for investor accounting functions.
• Oversee bank account administration and related controls.
