A leading financial services company is seeking an Investor Reporting Analyst to oversee accounting processes for various GSEs. The role encompasses daily operations, collaboration with servicing departments, and adherence to investor controls, requiring a strong analytical background and proficiency in accounting principles.
Position Overview
The Investor Reporting Analyst’s primary role is to maintain consistent and timely accounting records and processes for all GSEs and other entities, including for Fannie Mae, Ginnie Mae, Freddie Mac, CMG Financial, and other private investors. They will be responsible for day-to-day, monthly, cyclical, and ad hoc accounting operations including but not limited to; portfolio and loan level exception management and resolution, accurate agency remittance and custodial account reconciliation, and ensuring compliance with investor and internal controls.They will collaborate with all relevant servicing departments to establish a net-new mortgage servicer, as directed by the Head of Investor Reporting and Accounting. This person is experienced in the industry with a strong working knowledge and understanding of investor reporting processes and portfolio management and operations. This role involves ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, optimizing current and developing operational processes, and collaborating with a team of investor reporting and accounting servicing professionals as well as corresponding servicing departments at CMG to design, build and enhance best-in-class processes.

This role operates in an ADA compliant office environment, utilizing typical office equipment and tasks including computer work. The position may involve partial stationary positions and moving throughout the day. Flexibility to work overtime to meet project deadlines is required.
COMPENSATION:
CMG pays a competitive salary which ranges from $85,000 - $90,000. Factors that affect salary may include:Investor Accounting experience and knowledge of mortgage servicing. Overall knowledge, number of years worked in the mortgage industry, types of roles performed, computer skills, experience specific to working with mortgage lenders, and education.
