Job summary

Reinsurance Group of America, Incorporated seeks an intern to support the Structured Credit & Trading team. You will gain exposure to RMBS, CMBS, CLO, and ABS as you assist with due diligence, data analysis, and reporting.

The role offers hands-on learning in credit analysis within an insurance company framework, building tools and contributing to ALM-informed investment decisions alongside experienced traders.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled as a full-time student pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• On track to graduate with Honors and a 3.5+ GPA.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills; proactive learner.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and at least one programming language (Python & SQL preferred).

Responsibilities

• Support credit analysis and trading activities within structured assets.
• Assist in due diligence, data collection, and reporting.
• Learn methods for analyzing industries, issuers, collateral, and structure.
• Collaborate with Traders/PMs and other analysts on the team.
