Job summary

The International Association of Insurance Professionals (IAIP) seeks an experienced FP&A professional in Durham, NC to support portfolio forecasting and strategic analysis for our investment program. You will partner with investment and finance stakeholders to build reliable models and deliver actionable insights.

Responsibilities include developing and maintaining financial models for scenario planning, analyzing asset allocation, and presenting findings to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field.
• 5+ years of FP&A, investment analysis, or investment management experience.
• Strong knowledge of investment products, markets, and accounting principles.
• Proficiency in financial modeling and data visualization tools (Excel, Power BI).
• Experience with Bloomberg, BlackRock Aladdin and Clearwater is a plus.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills for senior stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Partner with investment and finance stakeholders to support portfolio forecasting, planning, and strategic analysis.
• Build and maintain financial models used for scenario planning, investment performance measurement, and forecasting activities.
• Deliver recurring portfolio analytics and reporting to leadership, highlighting key trends and business insights.
• Evaluate portfolio returns, asset allocation, and market developments to identify risks and opportunities.
• Monitor yield and spread performance metrics to support profitability goals and investment strategy execution.
• Contribute to investment income forecasting, budgeting, and capital planning processes through data-driven analysis.
