Job summary

Merit Financial Group in Alpharetta, GA seeks a trading-focused operations professional to support investment management processes. The role handles daily trading, performance attribution, model management and research to assist advisors, planners, and client service teams.

You will work with Orion Eclipse for rebalance and trading, engage with multi-custodial environments, and help improve processes. A 3–5 year background in investment operations, Series 7/63/66, and strong communication are

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 to 5 years of industry experience
• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or Business
• Series 7 and Series 63 or 66
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Desire to wear multiple hats in a fast-paced, high growth company
• Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment
• Excellent written, presentation, and communication skills
• Detail oriented and highly observant

Responsibilities

• Primary responsibility for daily trading functions (mutual funds, ETFs, equities, bonds)
• Rebalancing Merit and advisor-guided models using Orion Eclipse
• Understand multi-custodial environment and custodian policies
• Provide service support for advisors on trade cases and Salesforce
• Support investment operations for financial advisors and planners
• Conduct education sessions with advisors on trading procedures
• Audit client transactions, fees, cash balances, and securities for compliance
• Work with trading team to improve processes and efficiency
