American Century Investments is seeking an Investment Management Software Engineer to join our IT team in Kansas City. You will work hands-on to build cloud-native solutions that support risk management, investment analytics, and portfolio operations using Python, AWS and modern Java frameworks.

You will collaborate with product owners, architects and data scientists in an Agile environment, implement ETL pipelines, microservices, and data-driven tools.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, finance or business or equivalent.
• 5+ years' experience in application development and support with Python, Pandas and NumPy. AWS S3, Step Functions, Lambdas, SNS, SQS, Glue (or Apache Spark).
• Strong data modeling experience for relational and NoSQL databases.
• Familiar with SQL Server, PostgreSQL and DB2.
• Solid understanding of design patterns and software architecture.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; strong documentation.
• Experience in Agile environments.

• Provide on call support with occasional overtime as needed.
