Vanguard’s College to Corporate Internship Program invites students to contribute to investment technology during a 10-week paid summer internship in Malvern, PA. You’ll help build and support systems powering Vanguard's portfolios and investment platforms, while gaining real-world ownership and leadership exposure.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in CS, IT, Engineering, or a related field (required).
• Interest in financial services and how technology enables investing.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with comfort working with data.
• Curiosity and willingness to learn both technical concepts and investment topics.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Demonstrated leadership skills and/or leadership aspirations.
• GPA of 3.2 or higher preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support the development and enhancement of systems used in portfolio management, trading, and investment operations.
• Work with financial and investment data to help drive insights and decision-making.
• Partner with engineers, analysts, and investment professionals to deliver technology solutions aligned to business needs.
• Participate in Agile teams contributing to design, testing, and delivery of new features or improvements.
• Gain exposure to how technology supports Vanguard's funds, ETFs, and investment strategies.
• Build relationships with peers, mentors, and leaders across Vanguard.
