Allianz Life offers an AIM Investment Analyst Internship Program designed for high-potential undergraduates or graduate students. Interns rotate across investment, analytics, and reporting teams, collaborating with seasoned professionals to deliver tangible solutions in a mentoring environment located in Minneapolis.

Participants gain hands-on experience with Databricks and Microsoft Azure, develop data pipelines, create dashboards in Power BI, and explore AI-enabled tools.

Qualifications

• Pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in mathematics, finance/accounting, economics, computer science, MIS, actuarial science, engineering, or related field.
• You must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Knowledge of Python and/or JavaScript is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Learn and participate in all cycles of the Software Delivery Lifecycle
• Solicit business context and investment process knowledge from business partners
• Evaluate and select technology solutions to provide value to end-users
• Utilize cloud technologies for data processing, analysis and reporting (Databricks, Azure)
• Work with AI-enabled capabilities and keep solutions up-to-date with latest use-cases
• Improve and automate existing processes
• Enhance visualizations in Power BI and user interactions in a React portal
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and Scrum methodologies
• Enhance regression test suites with QA automation frameworks
• Work with cybersecurity/code quality tools and remediation of vulnerabilities
• Gain exposure to Azure DevOps and CI/CD processes
• Learn Disaster Recovery implementations
• Deliver high-quality technical solutions in a corporate environment
