Job summary

Allianz Life is seeking top undergraduates or graduate students for the AIM Investment Analyst Internship Program. You will gain exposure to multiple departments, work with seasoned professionals, and contribute to investment research, data analysis, and process improvement.

Responsibilities include developing investment analyses with Excel, Power BI and Aladdin, researching asset classes, presenting reports, updating analyses, and automating processes with VBA.

Qualifications

• Superior communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience using Excel, Power BI and/or other data analysis and visualization tools.
• Strong leadership experience and an understanding of investment and capital market fundamentals.
• Pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in mathematics, finance/accounting, economics, computer science, actuarial science, engineering, or related technical field.
• You must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring immigration sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Develop investment analysis using tools such as Excel, Power BI, and Aladdin
• Conduct asset class research including building asset class specific models
• Create and present reports/recommendations to various stakeholders
• Update existing analyses with new data and inputs
• Improve and automate existing processes using tools such as Power BI and VBA
• Attend team meetings and training sessions for professional development
• Utilization of artificial intelligence tools and resources (e.g. generative AI)
