Job summary

Allianz Group is seeking AIM Investment Analyst Interns in Minnesota to gain hands-on exposure to investment research, modeling, and process improvement under mentorship from seasoned professionals. You'll work on investment analysis and development projects applying classroom concepts to real work scenarios.

In this role you will develop analysis using Excel, Power BI, and Aladdin; conduct asset class research; build models; and present recommendations.

Qualifications

• Pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in mathematics, finance/accounting, economics, computer science, actuarial science, engineering, or related technical field
• Superior communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Experience using Excel, Power BI and/or other data analysis and visualization tools
• Strong leadership experience and an understanding of investment and capital market fundamentals
• U.S. work authorization now or in the future (no sponsorship required)

Responsibilities

• Develop investment analysis using Excel, Power BI, and Aladdin
• Conduct asset class research including building asset class specific models
• Create and present reports/recommendations to various stakeholders
• Update existing analyses with new data and inputs
• Improve and automate existing processes using Power BI and VBA
• Attend team meetings and training sessions for professional development
• Utilize artificial intelligence tools and resources (e.g. generative AI)
