Job summary

Parametric, part of Morgan Stanley Investment Management, seeks an Investment Strategy analyst to support equity options and derivatives strategies. You will prepare portfolio and market analysis, support client communications, and help develop strategy-related materials and reporting.

You’ll work closely with investment strategists, portfolio managers, and internal partners to support growth and retention of client assets in a hybrid office model.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in finance, economics, mathematics, or related field.
• 1+ years of relevant experience in financial services (wealth management or asset management).
• Knowledge of options and derivatives strategies preferred.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Demonstrated problem-solving, analytical, and quantitative skills with strong attention to detail.
• Highly organized with ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team; proficient in Microsoft Office and learning new platforms.
• Interest in leveraging AI and emerging technologies to improve efficiency and workflows.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Investment Strategy team with day-to-day client servicing, inquiries, and coordination of strategy information.
• Analyze portfolio exposures, options positions, strategy performance, and volatility trends across client accounts.
• Gather and analyze data for investment commentary, strategy updates, reports, and marketing collateral.
• Manage multiple inboxes, prioritize requests, and route to team members as needed.
• Collaborate with strategists, PMs, traders, technology, and operations to support client needs and improve processes.
• Assist with account reconciliation to ensure option trades and strategy activity are accurately reflected.
