Job summary

Newmark’s West Coast Investment Sales team seeks an analytically minded associate to support the execution and marketing of institutional investment sales assignments.

You will work directly with lead brokers and analysts across the full deal life cycle, from comparable analysis and offering materials through tours, best and final rounds and closing, gaining hands-on experience on landmark transactions with a best-in-class group of professionals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in real estate, finance, economics or related field.
• Two to three years of experience in commercial real estate, investment sales, capital markets or related analytical role.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with Salesforce, Revere or comparable CRM and data room platforms preferred

Responsibilities

• Market Research & Comparable Analysis: Manage and update the team’s comparable sales database; develop analyses for each transaction.
• Marketing & Content Production: Create property summaries; assist with brochures and offering memorandums; produce tour books.
• Tour Coordination & Investor Engagement: Prepare and send tour invitations; coordinate scheduling; lead property tours when appropriate.
• Deal Process & Transaction Support: Update marketing reports; prepare materials for bid processes; oversee updates to deal marketing platform; draft commission invoices and coordinate documentation through closing.
