Job summary

Addison Group in Oklahoma City is seeking an Investment Risk & Operations Associate to evaluate investment managers, assess controls and regulatory compliance, and support due diligence. The role blends accounting and investment operations with exposure to global strategies and financial reporting.

You will interview CFOs/COOs, review filings and agreements, and present findings to the investment team. Hybrid work with Fridays remote, travel up to 15% domestically and internationally.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business administration.
• 2+ years of relevant experience in accounting, internal audit, financial services, investment management, or due diligence.
• Experience in financial services or investment management beneficial.
• Strong written and verbal communication with executives.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate prospective and existing investment managers by reviewing financial statements, internal controls, operational procedures, and business practices
• Conduct interviews and onsite meetings with CFOs, COOs, compliance officers, and other investment firm executives
• Assess financial stability, operational infrastructure, valuation practices, regulatory compliance, and risks
• Review regulatory filings, investment agreements, valuation policies, and due diligence documents
• Prepare and present reports outlining findings, concerns, and recommendations
• Collaborate with legal professionals on investment documentation
• Assist in refining internal risk assessment processes and monitoring developments
