Job summary

The World Bank Group Treasury is seeking an Investment Officer to join the Quantitative Solutions and Analytics team. You will focus on investment guideline monitoring, analytics, and client reporting while collaborating with central banks, pension funds, and other partners.

Ideal candidates bring a Master’s degree in a related field and at least five years of experience in finance/investments, with strong Python coding skills and experience with Murex/Bloomberg systems.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in finance, engineering, data science, mathematics or related discipline.
• 5+ years of relevant work experience in finance and investments, preferably in portfolio management, market risk, credit risk or compliance.
• Strong programming skills in Python and data management capabilities.
• Experience with Murex and Bloomberg portfolio systems is highly desirable.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to present to diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy and monitor investment guidelines and compliance across portfolios.
• Develop and maintain portfolio analytics, risk metrics and client reporting.
• Lead or contribute to projects implementing risk, compliance and limit systems.
• Mentor junior team members and collaborate across Treasury partners and external stakeholders.
