Job summary

Mariner Wealth Advisors seeks a Manager Research Analyst to evaluate public markets asset classes, develop focus lists, and present investment strategies to the EIPC. You will work with advisors on education, manager interviews, and strategy placements to support client portfolios.

Ideal candidates bring five+ years in investment strategy due diligence, plus MBA/CFA and experience with Morningstar Direct and eVestment Alliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
• Minimum of five years’ investment strategy due diligence experience.
• MBA and/or CFA charter preferred.
• Experience with Morningstar Direct and eVestment Alliance.
• Experience with LLMs to enhance research due diligence processes.

Responsibilities

• Source and conduct due diligence on assigned asset classes.
• Develop and maintain a focus list of recommended investment strategies.
• Present updates and recommendations to the EIPC monthly.
• Collaborate with advisors on manager interviews and strategy placements.
• Lead the open investment RFP process for larger relationships.
• Mentor research associates within The Research Group.
• Assist with new client onboarding through portfolio reviews.
