Job summary

Mariner seeks a detail-oriented professional to bridge research teams and advisors, translating market insights into actionable deliverables for client interactions. You will create scalable frameworks, support Morningstar Portal usage, and produce regular capital markets materials.

Experience with Morningstar Direct/eVestment is preferred, along with AI-assisted research and presentation development. A CFA progression or strong financial acumen is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, statistics, or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in finance, investments, analytics, or similar.
• Advanced Excel with large data sets.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Attention to detail with ability to manage multiple deliverables under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Translate research perspectives into clear, actionable deliverables for advisors.
• Develop standardized frameworks and narratives tailored for diverse client needs.
• Provide advisors with intuitive resources for client interactions, such as the Morningstar Report Portal.
• Lead quarterly refresh of the Mariner Manager Monitor (3M) for accurate advisor data.
• Conduct manager searches for public markets and open-end real estate.
• Support Morningstar Report Portal users and help develop new reporting functionality.
• Produce monthly and quarterly capital markets materials.
• Build asset allocation studies in Morningstar for institutional clients.
• Design and implement surveys on public fixed income and equities.
• Assist advisors with data and reporting inquiries.
• Maintain the Research Wealth Focus List within Morningstar.
