Confidential in New York, NY is seeking a Performance Operations Analyst (Temp) to support performance measurement, validation, and reporting for portfolios and benchmarks. The role involves collaboration with Portfolio Managers, Client Reporting, Fund Administration, Technology, Analytics, Risk, and external service providers to ensure accurate and timely performance data.

Qualifications

• Experience in investment management operations, performance measurement, performance reporting, fund accounting, or a related financial services discipline.
• Knowledge of portfolio performance measurement concepts and benchmark return calculations; familiarity with GIPS standards is a plus.
• Understanding of investment products including equities, fixed income, derivatives, and alternative investments.

Responsibilities

• Support daily performance measurement, validation, and reporting activities for portfolios and benchmarks.
• Perform quality control reviews and investigate performance, benchmark, and data exceptions.
• Assist with benchmark setup, maintenance, and monitoring activities.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external service providers to resolve operational issues impacting performance reporting.
• Support regulatory, board, client, and management reporting requirements.
• Analyze data and identify trends, outliers, and discrepancies requiring investigation and resolution.
• Produce recurring and ad hoc reporting for business partners and stakeholders.
• Participate in automation and process improvement initiatives utilizing Excel, Power BI, Alteryx, Python, AI-enabled tools, and other technologies.
