Job summary

Prime Buchholz is seeking a Performance Analyst in Portsmouth, NH. You will learn investment knowledge and apply it to support teams across the firm, calculating and reconciling investment performance for clients.

You will work with various data feeds and a proprietary system to deliver accurate measurements, analysis, and timely client reports. This role emphasizes detail, deadlines, and teamwork in a growing investment firm.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Finance or business strongly preferred.
Progress toward or willingness to pursue CFA/CAIA preferred.
Excellent attention to detail, strict adherence to deadlines, and advanced problem-solving skills.
Must be a team player with effective time management and ability to multitask.
Intermediate to advanced experience in PowerPoint and Excel for financial functions and chart generation.

Responsibilities

Learn, then apply investment knowledge to select benchmarks and peer universes for investments and plans.
Utilize custodian bank downloads and data files for proprietary performance measurement input.
Use a proprietary database of client statements to complete performance calculations for all client investments.
Maintain monthly cash flows for 25-30 client accounts by calculating and reconciling valuations, transactions, fees, and returns.
Calculate portfolio characteristics for client reports including equity, fixed income, hedge funds, and real assets.
Analyze client meeting reports to ensure action items are completed.
Deliver monthly executive summaries and quarterly client reports.
