Job summary

Nuveen is seeking an experienced investment operations professional to lead analytical and testing work for strategic initiatives across global equities, fixed income, FX, and OTC derivatives. The role supports automation efforts and scalable improvements, reporting to the VP of Investment Operations within Nuveen Global Investment Operations.

The Lead Analyst will drive business requirements, test planning, UAT, and defect tracking while contributing to risk management and SOP development.

Qualifications

3+ years in asset management, investment/trading operations.
2+ years supporting FX and/or OTC derivatives.
Ability to manage multiple project workstreams and testing.
Experience contributing to enterprise transformational projects, including business analysis and testing.

Responsibilities

Assist in executing a portfolio of projects and strategic initiatives with focus on business analysis, testing, and implementation tasks.
Collaborate with Trading, Technology, and Operations to gather requirements, develop test cases, conduct UAT, and track defects.
Support transformation tasks deploying automation and AI technologies, including data validation and testing support.
Support risk management by identifying operational risks during testing and implementation, and helping to develop SOPs and remediation plans.
Identify opportunities for efficiency and process improvement within Core Public Operations and elevate recommendations to senior staff.
