About the Client

Our client is a fast-growing private credit investment firm that provides flexible capital solutions to middle-market companies. With a collaborative, high-performance culture and a strong track record across direct lending, opportunistic credit, and specialty finance strategies, the firm has established itself as a leading player in the private credit space. They are looking for a Fund Finance Analyst to support the continued growth of their finance & accounting team. This role is ideal for candidates with a background in public accounting (audit or assurance) who are eager to pivot into private markets and gain hands-on exposure to both fund-level and firm-level finance functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with monthly and quarterly fund close processes, including NAV calculations, allocations, and reconciliation of capital accounts
• Oversee and review fund financials prepared by third-party administrators, ensuring accuracy and consistency with internal records
• Support the preparation and review of investor capital call and distribution notices
• Work directly with external auditors and tax advisors during year-end audits and tax filing cycles
• Help maintain the firm’s internal finance infrastructure, including general ledger activity, cash management, and intercompany transactions
• Partner with investment professionals to monitor portfolio company performance and valuation metrics
• Prepare internal reports and dashboards for senior management and investor relations
• Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of financial processes, systems, and controls
• Assist with ad hoc analysis related to fund performance, liquidity, and capital planning

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 2–4 years of experience in public accounting, preferably with exposure to asset management or alternative investments
• CPA or CPA-eligible strongly preferred
• Solid understanding of US GAAP; familiarity with investment fund structures is a plus
• Strong Excel skills; experience with fund accounting systems (e.g., Investran, Allvue, eFront) is advantageous
• Self-starter with strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to operational excellence
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively across departments
