Job summary

Mission Staffing is seeking a middle office professional in the United States with 3+ years on a buy side team. You will handle post execution, settlement, and fail resolution across fixed income and equity products, and collaborate with clients, investment teams, and senior stakeholders.

You will also work with Omgeo applications and derivative products, supporting reconciliations and complex restructurings while driving process improvements and controls.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of recent buy side middle office experience.
• Understanding of post execution, confirmation, settlement, and fail resolution across fixed income and equity products.
• Knowledge of Omgeo’s suite of post execution applications.
• Knowledge of derivatives, including futures, OTC, and FX.
• Experience working directly with clients, investment teams, and senior stakeholders.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Highly organized and detail oriented, with multitasking ability.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
• Experience with WSO, ClearPar, Bloomberg AIM, Tradeflow, Omgeo, and Margin Manager.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all bank loan activity, including interest rate resets, principal repayments, principal drawdowns, and margin changes.
• Coordinate settlement of primary and secondary loan closings with external parties, across par and distressed trades under LSTA and LMA documentation
• Work with trustees and agent banks to resolve discrepancies
• Oversee complex restructures, including defaults, refinancings, and extensions
• Support the cash, position, and trade reconciliation process, and help resolve complex reconciliation issues
• Provide cash balance oversight for portfolio managers
• Support pre settlement events across the trade lifecycle for other fixed income products
• Analyze, document, and improve current processes and controls
• Serve as an escalation point for the middle office team across business lines, working with banks, brokers, and internal groups to solve problems

• Knowledge of Omgeo’s suite of post execution applications
• Knowledge of derivative products, including futures, OTC, and FX
• Experience and comfort working directly with clients, investment teams, and senior stakeholders
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Highly organized and detail oriented, with the ability to multitask and solve problems
