Job summary

StepStone is seeking an Investment Operations Senior Analyst to coordinate settlement of private loan investments, manage capital calls, and monitor cash across multiple private debt funds. You will collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure timely, accurate transactions, with responsibilities in La Jolla and other StepStone offices.

The role requires 1–4 years of experience and a bachelor’s degree, plus strong Excel and communication skills in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 1–4 years of work experience in finance or investment operations.
• Demonstrates accuracy and attention to detail in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
• Experience in private debt or fund accounting is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the settlement of private loan investments across funds.
• Manage capital calls and treasury activities (cash management, FX, liquidity).
• Work with banks, loan managers, administrators, and custodians to ensure timely transactions.
• Monitor data quality and ensure bookings are recorded promptly.
• Assist in ad-hoc report production for fund management and leadership.
• Support day-to-day operations of the private debt platform and related vehicles.
