You will help grow our portfolio, build our investment pipeline, and network with industry founders, focusing on leading investments in growth-stage blockchain companies in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Sourcing: Identifying new investment opportunities in crypto infrastructure and qualifying inbound leads through meetings with entrepreneurs.
• Analysis: Conducting market research and feasibility studies on blockchain investment opportunities.
• Due Diligence: Performing comprehensive due diligence, including market, product, competitive, and technical analysis.
• Portfolio Support: Engaging with portfolio founders to provide support.
• Ecosystem Building: Participating in community activities, organizing events, and promoting Wintermute Ventures.
• Admin: Coordinating with internal and external parties, managing administrative tasks related to investments.

Hard Skills Requirements

• Experience with DeFi protocols and blockchain technology, including white paper reviews.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Science, Finance, Economics, or related fields, or equivalent experience.
• Understanding of venture capital and crypto deal terms.
• At least 3 years of experience in consulting, investing, or high-growth tech with financial modeling skills.
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.
• Excellent written and analytical communication skills.
• Relationship-building skills and a proactive attitude.
