Landmark Properties is seeking an Investment Management Intern to support the Asset Management and Acquisitions teams in Atlanta. The role focuses on compiling and analyzing financial data for the firm's existing portfolio and informing investment decisions.

You will work on debt and equity transactions, build financial models, prepare rent rolls and forecast budgets, and help streamline processes as part of a hands-on summer program.

Job DescriptionInvestment Management InternAs an Investment Management Intern, you will report to either the Asset Management or Acquisitions team. Your role will primarily consist of compiling and analyzing financial data involving the management of Landmark’s existing portfolio. In your role, you will be expected to make substantial contributions to analysis that will inform the firm’s investment decisions.This is a full-time, on-site internship. The internship program will run from June 1, 2027 through August 6, 2027.Reports to: Asset Management AnalystDirect Reports: N/ADuties/Responsibilities: The duties listed below are an outline of the Investment Management Intern’s responsibilities and should not be considered an all-inclusive list. As the needs of the organization change, these duties may be modified as needed.· Work with the Asset Management department in the evaluation, execution, and disposition of student housing and multifamily properties.· Monitor and compile relevant economic data across different markets to assess the overall health of the student housing market.· Support both debt and equity transactions, including but not limited to refinancings, recapitalizations, and new placements.· Use Excel to highlight asset and portfolio-level performance metrics such as IRR, income growth, and Return on Investment.· Provide analytical support in preparation of reporting materials, including but not limited to rent rolls, budget forecasts, and rate plans.· Build and update financial models relating to the underwriting of institutional-quality student housing and multifamily assets.· Gather rent and sales comparables as part of the underwriting process.· Ad-hoc projects as needed with the goal of streamlining processes and increasing efficiency.Preferred Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities· Enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in a relevant major (Real Estate, Finance, Business Administration, etc.) with an excellent academic record and demonstrated interest in real estate.· Succinct and effective written and oral communication skills.· A motivated self-starter, problem solver, and team player.· Strong organizational, interpersonal, analytical, and leadership skills.· Computer skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.· Understanding of financial concepts (i.e., IRR, ROI) and the ability to apply concepts.· Ability to accomplish assigned tasks with limited guidance and supervision.Work Environment· The work environment characteristics described herein are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
