Job summary

Foster Garvey's Investment Management practice in Seattle seeks an associate with 3 to 5 years of relevant transactional experience to join its team.

The successful candidate will advise on traditional and alternative investment transactions for pension funds, endowments, universities, sovereign entities, and insurance companies, collaborating with cross-disciplinary attorneys and contributing to a nationally recognized practice while enjoying mentorship and pro bono opportunities.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of investment management, investment fund, fund formation, private equity transactions, capital raising, or other relevant transactional experience.
• JD from an ABA-accredited law school and license to practice law.
• Strong academic credentials and excellent analytical and writing skills.
• A client service approach and exceptional communication skills.
• Enthusiasm to work both as part of a diverse team and independently.
• The ability to manage significant individual responsibilities.
• Experience working on and managing multiple projects at once.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
