Job summary

The Arizona Public Safety Personnel Retirement System (PSPRS) is offering a 12-week Investment Intern role in Phoenix. You will support the Investment Team with analysis, market research, and due diligence, and assist portfolio managers on front-end tasks.

On-site work and a flexible internship schedule are provided. Candidates pursuing finance, economics, or related degrees are encouraged to apply, with preference for juniors, seniors, or first-year master’s students.

Qualifications

Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance, economics, business administration, mathematics, or a related field.
Preference given to juniors, seniors, or first-year master’s students.
Background check including credit and criminal history is required.
All newly hired State employees must complete E-Verify.

Responsibilities

Assist Investment Team with bespoke financial analysis, market research, and performance reviews.
Support front-end due diligence of prospective investment partners with memos and data gathering.
Attend Investment Committee meetings and partner meetings to capture notes and actions.
Download and organize quarterly reports for 150+ external investment partner relationships.
Maintain the Internal Investment Team contact management system.
