Job summary

Fitch Ratings in New York seeks a Managing Director, Investment Grade Sector Head for the Technology, Media & Telecommunications (TMT) sector within the U.S. & Canada CIPF rating team, based in New York.

The role oversees a sector group and a team of analysts, shaping ratings practice and external engagement at senior levels. You will lead talent development, coordinate with stakeholders across markets, and represent Fitch externally while driving timely, high-quality rating actions and research

Qualifications

• Substantial experience in capital markets or credit analysis.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to explain complex topics.
• Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing, inclusive teams.
• Life-long learning mindset and intellectual curiosity.
• CFA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct managerial responsibility for a team of ~20 analysts.
• Oversee ratings processes, analytical research, and external engagement.
• Articulate Fitch’s credit views and sector outlook in meetings, calls, and publications.
• Mentor analysts and lead talent development.
