Job summary

Invesco Ltd. is seeking an experienced legal counsel in Downers Grove to support disclosure, governance and regulatory initiatives for mutual funds, closed‑end funds and ETFs.

You will oversee fund registration statements, shareholder materials, and SEC filings while collaborating with senior leaders to drive product and corporate initiatives. JD with 4–6 years of relevant experience is required.

Qualifications

• JD with active bar membership required.
• 4–6 years of relevant legal experience, especially in investment management and securities laws.
• Experience in major law firm, SEC or in‑house at asset management preferred.
• Strong background in regulatory disclosure and SEC interactions.
• Ability to translate complex legal issues into practical guidance.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal counsel on fund disclosure and SEC filings for mutual funds, ETFs and related products.
• Oversee preparation, supervision and review of registration statements, proxy materials, and public disclosures.
• Advise on product launches, mergers, reorganizations and other corporate initiatives.
• Collaborate with internal clients and external stakeholders across Legal, Compliance, Finance and Investments.
