Job summary

Invesco is seeking a Legal Counsel to provide business-focused legal guidance on registered investment products and related regulatory matters. The role covers mutual funds, closed-end funds, and ETFs, with hands-on oversight of fund registration, disclosures, and board materials.

The position reports to the Assistant General Counsel, Disclosure, and requires JD, bar membership, and 4-6 years of securities law experience.

Qualifications

• JD degree and active bar membership required.
• 4-6 years of relevant legal experience in investment management or securities law.
• Experience with disclosed materials and SEC filings is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide pragmatic legal guidance on registered investment products and regulatory matters for mutual funds, closed-end funds and ETFs.
• Oversee preparation and review of fund registration statements, shareholder reports, proxy materials, board materials, SEC filings and other disclosures.
• Collaborate with internal clients and external stakeholders to support regulatory implementation of fund initiatives and product launches.
