A well-regarded law firm is seeking a mid-to-senior level Associate or Senior Associate to join its Investment Funds practice. The ideal candidate will bring experience advising on fund formation, regulatory compliance, and investor negotiations, with a focus on private investment vehicles such as private equity and hedge funds.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the formation, structuring, and launch of private investment funds
Counsel clients on fund operations and regulatory compliance
Draft offering documents, partnership agreements, and side letters
Support transactions involving fund investors, secondary interests, or co-investments
Liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders on client matters
Candidate Requirements:
JD from an accredited law school
Bar admission in NY or D.C. required
3 to 8 years of experience in asset management, private funds, or related areas
Familiarity with fund sponsor representation and investor negotiations
Excellent drafting, analytical, and client-service skills
