Morgan Stanley's Parametric unit seeks an Investment Engineer, Overlay Solutions, to enhance data quality and client content. You will partner with Portfolio Management and Research to develop quantitative content and support portfolio analysis for institutional clients in a hybrid in-office/remote setup.

The role emphasizes automation, client-facing deliverables, and collaboration across teams, with 5+ years in the field and strong programming skills.

Qualifications

5+ years of relevant experience in a similar role.
In-depth knowledge of the investment industry and quantitative methods.
Proficiency in Python, SQL, or related languages is preferred.
Understanding of derivative instruments including swaps, options, and futures.
Graduate degree and/or CFA is preferred.

Responsibilities

Maintain and enhance existing investment analysis processes; develop new quantitative content and complete custom analysis based on client requests.
Serve as liaison between Portfolio Management and Research for quantitative content supporting Overlay Solutions.
Develop familiarity with clients, investment offerings, and market positioning.
Implement automation to increase team efficiency and scalability of client analysis and other content generation.
Ensure consistent processes and data integrity controls for the Portfolio Management team and client accounts.
Produce and oversee client deliverables.
Arrange training for investment professionals to explain analyses and content.
Support the Portfolio Management Team with ad hoc requests using systems and product knowledge.
