Job summary

Northern Trust is seeking an Analyst to manage investment data and provide datasets for stakeholders. Under supervision, you will enter transactions, valuations, and manager estimates, and perform reconciliations across cash and positions.

The role supports NAV reviews and allocations for alternative investments, with opportunities to contribute to ongoing process improvements. Strong data accuracy and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

Basic knowledge of the investment industry and markets.
Familiarity with IRR, time-weighted return, NAVs and accruals.
Understanding of hedge funds, private equity and other asset types.
Ability to prioritize, multi-task and meet deadlines.
Willingness to work unconventional hours during critical projects.

Responsibilities

Serve as point of entry for all investment data.
Enter investment transactions and valuations for various asset classes.
Prepare reconciliations for cash, positions and performance.
Review NAV and allocation for alternatives.
Support process improvements with specialized knowledge.
