Wedbush Securities is seeking a Summer Analyst for the New York office in 2027. The intern will support senior bankers across corporate finance transactions including IPOs, secondary offerings, private placements, and valuations, while managing multiple projects either independently or as part of a team.

Ideal candidates are pursuing a major in Business, Finance, Economics, or Accounting, with a GPA of 3.3+.

Qualifications

  • Major/Minor in Business, Finance, Economics, or Accounting.
  • GPA of 3.3 or higher.
  • Excellent quantitative/math skills and agility with numbers.
  • Strong Excel skills (Pivots, VLOOKUP, Macros).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to prioritize daily work flow.
  • Requires high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Strong computer/software skills and ability to learn new software.

Responsibilities

  • Provide transaction support to senior bankers on a broad range of corporate finance transactions including IPOs, secondary offerings, private placements, mergers & acquisitions and valuations.
  • Manage several concurrent projects and work effectively as part of a team or individually.
  • Assist in preparation of company marketing and transactions materials.
  • Conduct financial analysis and modeling.

The Summer Analyst position for 2027 will be located in New York.
