Job summary

Synthires is seeking an Investment Banking & M&A Expert for remote, contractor work. You will apply deep investment-banking and valuation skills to build client-ready deal environments, develop scenarios, and review AI-generated materials. Hands-on use of agentic AI tools is required.

Responsibilities include creating CIMs, pitch books, and valuation models, and ensuring the accuracy of all client deliverables. 20+ hours weekly preferred, with remote collaboration across US/Canada and beyond.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in investment banking/M&A or sell-side advisory.
• Hands-on with valuation models, CIMs, pitch books, and live-deal client materials.
• Experience using agentic AI tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, or Claude Cowork.

Position: Investment Banking & M&A Expert

Type: Contractor (Paid Per Task)

Compensation: $60-$120/hour

Location: Remote (US/Canada preferred; UK and Latin America also considered)

Commitment: 10+ hours per week required; 20+ preferred

About the Opportunity

Apply your investment banking and M&A expertise to help evaluate how AI systems perform complex transaction work. Build realistic deal environments, develop transaction scenarios, and use AI agents to create and review valuation models, deal materials, and client-facing deliverables. Hands‑on experience with agentic AI tools is required.

Key Responsibilities

• Build realistic transaction environments using company information, financial statements, diligence materials, and deal context.
• Design multi‑step tasks involving valuation, comparable‑company analysis, financial modeling, and sell‑side advisory.
• Use AI agents to develop and review CIMs, pitch books, valuation models, and supporting materials.
• Independently verify the accuracy and quality of AI‑generated deliverables.
• Create objective evaluation criteria and realistic transaction workflows.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in investment banking, M&A, or sell‑side advisory.
• Hands‑on experience with valuation models, comparable‑company analyses, CIMs, pitch books, and live‑deal client materials.
• Practical experience using agentic AI tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, or Claude Cowork.
• General chatbot usage alone does not meet the AI experience requirement.

Preferred Qualifications

• Corporate carve‑out experience (strongly preferred).
• Experience at a top‑tier investment bank or M&A advisory firm.
• Industrials sector experience.
• Experience developing review standards, training junior professionals, or creating internal playbooks.
• Previous benchmark development or AI evaluation experience.
• Availability for 20+ hours per week.

Compensation

$60-$120 per hour, with payment based on completed tasks.
