Job summary

JPMorganChase is seeking an Associate in Business Services Investment Banking in New York. You will join a high-performing team, handling financial analysis, modeling, and client interactions with senior bankers as you support M&A, debt, and equity processes.

You will build valuation models, prepare client materials, and manage workstreams across diverse services sectors, collaborating with large-cap and founder-owned clients to advance strategic objectives.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of investment banking coverage or M&A experience.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills with financial data.
• Proven team player able to interact with internal groups and clients.
• Strong multi-tasking and communication skills.
• Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint; financial reporting skills.
• Bachelor's degree in finance, business, accounting, economics, mathematics or related field.

Responsibilities

• Support senior team members in origination activities (M&A valuation, industry trends).
• Participate in execution and manage standard workstreams (bakeoffs, marketing, models).
• Build valuation models using comparables, DCF, and acquisitions analysis.
• Work with large-cap, middle-market, and founder-owned clients on strategic objectives.
• Support sponsor coverage and quarterly/annual planning initiatives.
• Conduct strategic analyses and synthesize large diligence data sets.
