Job summary

CIBC's Energy, Infrastructure, & Transition (EIT) team in New York provides exposure to digital infrastructure, power, renewables and energy transition across North America. You will support M&A, capital structure advisory and financing transactions with senior bankers, building strong client relationships and financial models.

As an Associate, you will mentor Analysts, contribute to industry research, client proposals, and strategic recommendations in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

Qualifications

• Finance, accounting, mathematics, computer science or economics undergraduate degree.
• Strong analytical and financial modeling skills.
• Experience with valuation techniques and financial analysis.

Responsibilities

• Assist in executing all facets of the group's mandates.
• Prepare industry and financial analyses to support client recommendations.
• Develop and audit sophisticated financial models and client proposals.
• Mentor Analysts and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
