Responsibilities

• Support investment banking team on the execution of M&A transactions.
• Assist in preparation of confidential information memos, pitch materials, and presentations.
• Develop and maintain complex financial models to perform various financial and valuation analyses.
• Conduct comprehensive and in-depth company and industry research.
• Play a key role in supporting origination, opportunity evaluation, and deal execution.
• Occasional travel to client sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required with a major in business, finance, accounting, or economics preferred.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of previous experience in investment banking.
• SIE Exam, Series 79, and Series 63 licenses must be acquired within 120 days of employment.
• Quantitative and data-based skills, including experience in valuation and financial modeling.
• Ability to learn quickly and manage several projects at once.
• Must reside in or around the Twin Cities and be able to commute to the office.
• Willing to maintain a hybrid schedule of at least 4 days in office.

The estimated base pay range for this role is $60,000 to $99,000 with offers typically not made at the maximum, allowing for future salary increases. The actual salary at the time of offer depends on business-related factors like location, skills, experience, training/education, licensure, certifications, business needs, current associate pay, and relevant employment laws.

Individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, subject to participation rules and based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual and Firm performance.
