Job summary

Alexander Chapman is seeking an Investment Banking Analyst in Chicago to join a lean, entrepreneurial team handling middle-market advisory roles. You will build complex financial models, assist with M&A engagements from pitch to execution, and conduct industry research.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years IB experience, strong modeling and valuation skills, and excellent analytical and communication abilities, with a readiness to relocate to Chicago if needed.

The firm focuses on advising middle-market businesses, with particular expertise across transportation, logistics, and supply chain-related industries, although direct sector experience is not a requirement.

This is an opportunity to join a lean, entrepreneurial team where Analysts can take on meaningful responsibility early and work closely with senior bankers. Rather than being one of many junior professionals, you’ll have significant exposure to senior team members and be involved throughout the transaction process.
