Job summary

Southfield Mezzanine in Greenwich, CT seeks an Associate with 2–4 years of investment experience to support screening, underwriting, and due diligence of potential investments. You will work closely with Partners and portfolio companies, preparing investment memos and financial models, and participating in Board meetings with a flexible in-office schedule.

The ideal candidate has a finance-related degree, strong analytical skills, and a proven track record in investing and financial analysis.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in investment-related roles or equivalent.
• Strong analytical and modeling skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to present to senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Screen investment opportunities and assist with deal structuring.
• Participate in diligence meetings with management and sponsors.
• Perform company-specific and market due diligence.
• Analyze historical financials and KPIs.
• Prepare investment memos and financial models for the Investment Committee.
• Support deal legal documentation processes.
• Monitor portfolio companies and participate in Board meetings.
• Assist with firm marketing and deal sourcing.
