Job summary

Cloud Capital in Washington DC is seeking an Investment Analyst to support investment proposals, due diligence, and market research across the deal lifecycle. You will work with senior professionals to originate, evaluate, and execute opportunities.

The role requires 2–4 years in Private Equity or M&A advisory, strong modelling skills, and an entrepreneurial mindset. You will collaborate with banks, fund managers, and portfolio companies to drive value and growth.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of relevant sector experience in Private Equity or M&A Advisory from a leading investment bank
• Demonstrated track record of deal flow execution
• Strong quantitative/numerical skills – advanced financial and operational modelling
• Independent and entrepreneurial character with high commercial acumen and a ‘returns’ driven mindset
• Excellent written/presentation and oral communication skills
• Able to work effectively and collaboratively with different team members
• Bachelor-level qualification in Economics/Math/Engineering or other quantitative field

Responsibilities

• Assisting with the preparation and evaluation of investment proposals, including Investment Committee papers
• Assisting/leading with transaction due diligence and execution, including leading workstreams and building and/or reviewing financial models
• Leading market and sector research and analysis, and provide updates on insights or developments
• Collaborating with senior investment professionals in originating, evaluating and analysing new investment opportunities
• Assisting the group with managing and monitoring existing investments, and identifying and implementing new initiatives as part of the group’s asset management plan
• Working with existing portfolio companies to assist in the execution of their business plans from initial investment to exit
• Managing and maintaining relationships within the industry, including investment banks, fund managers, independent valuers, consultants, and peer institutional investors

What the Role Entails

Requirements:What You Bring to the Role
