Job summary

Waycrosse in Wayzata, Minnesota, seeks an Investment Analyst to support portfolio management, research, and reporting. The role involves evaluating investment strategies and managers, monitoring the portfolio, and providing market insights to guide decisions.

You will work with the CIO and Directors across asset classes including public equities, hedge funds, private equity, and real assets. Strong technical skills and travel readiness are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant investment management experience across asset classes.
• Bachelor's degree in economics, finance or business.
• Exceptional investment judgment and concise analytical conclusions.
• Strong Excel and Bloomberg proficiency and familiarity with investment systems."Familiarity with systems is less important than underlying concepts."

Responsibilities

• Evaluate performance, strategies, and exposures of external managers with independent research and commentary.
• Identify attractive markets and help select managers for potential investment, including co-investment opportunities.
• Support development of investment proposals and prepare analysis for review by the Investment Advisory Committee.
