Waycrosse, Inc. in Wayzata, MN is seeking a Family Accountant to support Family Advisors with accounting analysis, tax projections, and cash flow modeling for individuals and trusts.

The role requires handling confidential client information with discretion and multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment. The position involves preparing financial statements, managing ad hoc tasks, and assisting with sophisticated wealth management workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or business required.
• CPA or CFP preferred.
• 5+ years’ experience in wealth management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Preparing, updating, and reviewing schedules and managing workflows related to client meetings/requests.
• Preparing and updating cash flow statements for individuals, foundations, trusts and entities.
• Direct client contact, addressing inquiries and providing timely information regarding their financial matters.
• Trust administration, including trust accounting, journal entries, distributions and meeting material prep.
• Review quarterly financial statements and monthly cash transaction statements.
• Compile information and review tax estimates and returns for individuals, trusts, entities and foundations.
• Ad hoc duties and special projects (new accounts, bill payment, scanning, journal entries, ACH/wire transfers).
