Job summary

Mercor is seeking experienced Financial and Investment Analysts to evaluate AI-generated valuation models, analyses, and workflows. You will apply your expertise in valuation, quantitative analysis, and investment recommendations to assess quality and rigor of AI outputs.

Role requires 4+ years in finance, 20+ hours per week, and immediate start for a 4–6 week project with task-based payment initially and hourly pay thereafter for the successful performers.

About the Role

Mercor is hiring experienced Financial and Investment Analysts to help evaluate and improve cutting-edge AI systems. In this role, you'll evaluate AI-generated financial and investment analysis content and workflows, leveraging your real-world expertise in valuation, quantitative analysis, and investment recommendations.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate AI-generated valuation models, investment recommendations, industry analyses, and other analytical artifacts for quality and accuracy.
• Compare AI-generated responses head-to-head based on analytical rigor, valuation soundness, and investment-recommendation quality.
• Review financial analysis scenarios involving company valuation, capital structure, and portfolio decisions and provide expert feedback.

Required Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience as a Financial Analyst, Investment Analyst, Equity Research Analyst, Portfolio Manager, Securities Analyst, or another closely related financial or investment analysis role.
• Experience conducting quantitative analyses, company valuations, or investment recommendations for public or private institutions.
• Ability to commit 20+ hours per week.
• Strong written English communication skills.

Additional Information

• Start date: Immediate
• Duration: Approximately 4-6 weeks
• Payment: task-based (payment upon first task approval). Experts who complete their first task within the required timeline will then be qualified to be paid hourly for the remainder of the project.
