Job summary

High Country Search Group is retained to identify an Investment Analyst for its Los Angeles investment team within a sophisticated private equity platform focused on real estate. The role offers exposure to senior leadership and involvement across underwriting, financing, portfolio management and new opportunity evaluation.

You will work directly with senior investment professionals to evaluate and execute real estate investments, with meaningful exposure to healthcare-oriented real estate.

Responsibilities

• Underwriting prospective investments and development opportunities
• Building and maintaining detailed financial models, including scenario and sensitivity analysis
• Conducting market, property, tenant and investment-level due diligence
• Preparing investment committee materials and investment recommendations
• Evaluating transaction structures, capitalization strategies and investment returns
• Supporting debt financing processes and interaction with lenders
• Assisting with transaction execution from initial evaluation through closing
• Monitoring existing investments and assisting with portfolio and asset management initiatives
• Conducting market research and evaluating new investment themes and opportunities
• Working directly with senior investment professionals and external operating partners
• Supporting broader business development and investment activities as the platform grows

High Country Search Group has been retained by a highly regarded, multi-strategy real estate private equity firm to identify an Investment Analyst for its Los Angeles investment team.

The team is currently deploying capital from a fully discretionary fund with approximately $700 million of investment capacity and has begun raising its next institutional vehicle.

This is an opportunity to join a sophisticated but entrepreneurial investment platform where junior professionals receive meaningful exposure to senior leadership and participate across the full lifecycle of an investment. Rather than operating in a narrowly defined execution role, the successful candidate will gain experience across underwriting, transaction execution, financing, portfolio management and the evaluation of new investment opportunities.

The Analyst will work directly with senior investment professionals to evaluate and execute real estate investments across the platform, with meaningful exposure to healthcare-oriented real estate.
