Job summary

United Community Banks Inc. in Wealth Management seeks an Investment Analyst to conduct research and due diligence on external investment managers and to develop portfolios and models with varied risk profiles for Wealth Management clients and prospects.

The analyst will present recommendations to the Asset Management Council and the Director of Research, and prepare communications to Portfolio Managers on manager selections and portfolio changes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Graduate degree preferred.
• Certified Financial Analyst or CFA candidate preferred.
• 6+ years investment experience with emphasis on manager research.
• Good analytical, verbal, and written communication skills.

Overview

The Investment Analyst provides crucial research and due diligence findings regarding external investment managers to the Wealth Management Investment Management Council and the leadership of Wealth Management. The Investment Analyst will also develop efficient portfolios and portfolio models with differing risk profiles for Wealth Management clients and prospects. The Investment Analyst will present recommendations on managers and portfolios to the Asset Management Council and the Director of Research. He/she will also prepare communications designed to inform Portfolio Managers regarding investment manager selections, portfolio construction and tactical changes to same.

What You’ll Do

Pay Range

USD $72,892.00 - USD $87,329.00 /Yr.
