Job summary

You will oversee timely reporting for GAAP and U.S. Statutory accounting, supervise transaction processing, balance reconciliations, and implement accounting policy improvements while collaborating with Auditors and cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or other business-related discipline.
• CPA preferred.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with GAAP and/or Statutory accounting and reporting.
• Ability to build cross-functional relationships and communicate complex information clearly.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Experience researching accounting guidance to drive appropriate accounting and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely and accurate investments performance reporting, SEC reporting, and U.S. statutory reporting for the organization’s Fixed Income portfolio.
• Supervise and review transaction processing and balance reconciliations.
• Oversee impairment and security valuation processes and related controls, ensuring accuracy and adherence to accounting policies and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain SOX controls documentation and evaluate deficiency risks through on-going review and validation of key operational processes.
• Lead accounting policy implementation and strategic business process redesign efforts.
• Lead interactions with auditors, delivering timely conclusions and proactively supporting routine and new audit requests efficiently.
