Job summary

You will partner with Finance teams, perform reconciliations, journal entries, and real estate owned accounting, while helping strengthen internal controls and SOX documentation. A CPA is preferred and 2–5 years of experience is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• CPA preferred.
• 2–5 years of U.S. GAAP and/or U.S. Statutory accounting experience.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.

Responsibilities

• Support U.S. GAAP and U.S. Statutory accounting and reporting for the organization’s Alternative Assets portfolio.
• Evaluate system outputs to ensure appropriate accounting treatment for our alternative assets portfolio.
• Research and review accounting guidance to assess current processes and identify efficiencies or gaps.
• Perform reconciliations, journal entries, real estate owned accounting, and financial reporting preparation.
• Collaborate with Finance teams and assist in investment strategy execution.
• Help maintain SOX controls documentation and validate key processes.
