Job summary

Nationwide in Columbus, OH is seeking a Specialist, Investment Accounting to plan, coordinate and perform complex investment accounting functions. You will analyze financial data from diverse sources to prepare regulatory and statutory reports for internal management and external authorities.

The role requires six years in investment accounting, CPA studies desirable, and an ability to lead projects and drive process improvements in a technology-enabled environment.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate studies in accounting, finance or business administration. Account major and degree preferred.
• CPA studies desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead role in establishing and implementing new or revised investment accounting policies and procedures.
• Prepares and analyzes the most complex financial and regulatory statements for the company and business areas assigned.
• Maintains more complex investment accounting records for coordination and submission of reports.
• Develops and submits complex investment accounting and financial transactions for proper reporting.
• Ensures the completeness and accuracy of all reports, forms and data provided to internal and external clients.
