Job summary

Summit County Munis Self-Service Portal is seeking an experienced Investigator to perform post-indictment research, interpret evidence for trial prep, and support court procedures. Responsibilities include contacting agencies, preparing reports, and coordinating with prosecutors while maintaining office security.

The role requires extensive law enforcement background (10+ years) with at least 2 in investigations, a valid Ohio driver’s license, and an OSHP certificate, with strong data handling

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and OSHP Training Certificate required.
• At least 10 years in law enforcement with 2+ years in investigations.
• Valid Ohio driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive investigations and research locating contacts via multiple channels.
• Prepare and submit investigative reports to prosecutors and coordinate with agencies.
• Maintain field records and information request directives; assist with evidence retrieval.
• Maintain security systems and support office security measures; mentor new staff.
