Job summary

Lone Star College System seeks an Investigator, Incident Reporting and Management to support incident handling from intake to closure within the Office of Governance, Accountability, and Compliance. You will analyze laws, policies, and procedures to guide investigations and report writing while ensuring compliance with applicable rules.

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree and at least 4 years of investigations or compliance experience in higher education; Title IX experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and at least 4 years of experience in investigations or compliance.
• Experience in investigations, higher education compliance, human resources, legal departments, or related fields.
• Preferred: Title IX investigations experience and related certifications.

Responsibilities

• Reviews or enters submissions to incident system; completes intake, analyzes claims, develops investigation plans, and closes cases.
• Adheres to policies, internal controls, and reporting structures; protects confidentiality.
• Assist with interview questions and document requests; provide updates to Supervisor; escalate as needed.
• Develops and edits business processes; stays current with laws and policies affecting incident management.
